CAD – CUT Printing


CAD Cut Printing 
is printing suited to small runs and individual names and numbers. It is a smart and cost effective way of printing low volume work. Cad Cut Printing (Also known as Vinyl Cut and Garments Film)

Firstly the logo or text needs to have an outline added. This is done using Coreldraw or Adobe Illustrator.

The design is then input direct into a digital cutter plotter which electronically cuts the design on to a single colour sheet of flock, foil or vinyl.

The uncut areas are then removed by hand. This process is known as “weeding”. The cut panels are then taken and are applied using a commercial heat press and silicone sheet.

Transfer printing is a fast, low cost way of producing small quantities of printed work wear or printed clothing and the Advantages are, Excellent sharp hardwearing finish, washable up to 60°.

Low cost on smaller orders – unlike screen-printing there are no set-up costs.

Cost dependent on size of design and detail.
